frickshun, May 29, 2007 9:42:50 AM
Pros: Great suction, very smart design, high build quality, good price, excellent accessories.
Cons: Very heavy & expensive filters to replace.
Review: My wife & I gave up on using our lightweight, inexpensive vacuum. It was $70 & lasted 6 good years. Now it smells like burning rubber when it's on & just doesn't do the job it used to. This time around, we decided to get something of better quality &... Read Full Review
Bottom Line: Fantastically designed vacuum. Makes a great bagless vac affordable for almost anyone.

Superb quality, great power, and very quiet
markgraves63, Aug 7, 2008 7:42:22 PM
Pros: Solid, well made, cleans well, easy to use, and is extremely quiet.
Cons: A bit heavy. Might bother those with limited strength or who have multiple floors.
Review: I'm one of those people who likes to thoroughly research major purchases. Since you are reading this, I would say that would describe you as well. Anyway, vacuum cleaners (or at least GOOD vacuum cleaners) are major purchases. If you are looking at... Read Full Review
Bottom Line: This is an excellent choice. Does what its supposed to do (clean carpets), is well made, has a long 5-year warranty, and it perhaps the quietest vacuum cleaner I've encountered.

Too many flaws
ctlogistics, Mar 13, 2008 9:43:19 AM
Pros: Beater brush works great
Cons: Suction on left side. Auto shutoff for brush annoying. Heavy. Messy. Bad tool holder.
Review: We've had our little 4-amp canister for 18 years so we figured we were due for a new vacuum. We select the Bissell Healthy Home Upright because of the strong reviews and a friend has one and swears by it. First the good: The beater brush does a great... Read Full Review
Bottom Line: I can't see investing this much money for this vacuum. The suction isn't constant, it's too heavy and it's very messy to unload and clean.

Finally, a cleaning TOOL
chuckknight, Jan 25, 2008 2:58:23 PM
Pros: Price, suction, build quality, suction, tools, suction, cleaning ability, suction. Did I mention the suction?
Cons: Weight, manual height adjustment
Review: Well, I guess I should begin with the Tim the Tool Man comment... Grunt, grunt, grunt, MORE POWER, grunt grunt! Finally, a vacuum that actually cleans. It's not pink, it's not feather light, and it's not stylish. At the risk of sounding sexist,... Read Full Review
Bottom Line: HEAVY, but effective. Vacuums are about suction, and this has got suction. It picks up dirt I didn't know was there! An unbeatable unit.

A Heavy Vacuum, but with Heavy Results
tjapkesg, Jun 18, 2008 6:57:09 PM
Pros: Powerful and effective. Enclosed canister. Comfortable
Cons: Possibly weight
Review: Prior to this vacuum, we limped along with a clumsy but perfectly functioning Dirt Devil. In other words, it performed reasonably well as a vacuum, but everything else about it had great potential for bringing colorful language to the surface. Without... Read Full Review
Bottom Line: If you can carry it or don't have multiple floors, this model is certainly worth considering. It appears to be well made, performs well, and is moderately priced.

Why we returned it
yoka, Mar 20, 2007 2:56:49 PM
Pros: Cleans carpets effectively.
Cons: Weighs too much, difficult to fully empty, attachments are poorly designed
Review: As an asthmatic, I was sold on the clean air idea. When we took it home, I was sold on how well it cleaned our area rug (great seeing all that dirt spinning!). But we returned it. Why? This is a dream vacuum for any ex-weightlifter who doesn't "do"... Read Full Review
Bottom Line: Only buy this if your husband is willing to do the vacuuming.
