Review: You know, I don't even think you really need to read the review that follows to know my opinion of the Arm's Reach Original Co-Sleeper. The title and rating should just about sum it up for everyone. However, if you'd like to know the reasoning... Read Full Review

Best of both worlds
mom2emma, Mar 10, 2007 5:27:50 PM
Pros: keeps baby close but seperate, can take it on vacation
Cons: may not be able to nurse while baby is laying in it
Review: Never thought there was a need for the "other" world. Keeping baby seperate that is. Cosleeping was the perfect solution to get more sleep for a nursing mom at night. My first 2 transitioned fine to their own beds. But seeing as my 2 yr old is still... Read Full Review
Bottom Line: I like this as the perfect best of cosleeping but seperate sleeping

Arm's Reach = the perfect distance

Pros: Great for nighttime feedings and changings; keeps baby nearby for exhausted parents
Cons: Difficult to unlock; mattress can seem noisy if baby bangs on it
Review: Before our baby was born we had already decided that we'd want her sleeping in our room, but we were concerned about the dangers of true co-sleeping. Based on various friends' recommendations, we bought the Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper, and we've found it to... Read Full Review
Bottom Line: Some minor kinks and a bit pricey, but a good product overall; especially helpful for those extremely tiring first few months -- the convenience saves you some much-needed energy!

Baby Product I would recommend the most if baby sleeps in your room!
jessie29, Apr 23, 2008 5:47:52 AM
Pros: convenient for breastfeeding mother, great alternative to baby sleeping in bed, very secure
Cons: fabric can pill, cosleeper only useful attached on bed for about 5 months
Review: I bought this when my daughter was about 4 months old because she was sleeping in our bed with us because I was breastfeeding her and it was just so much easier having her in bed with us. As she got older she was rolling all over and I always ended up... Read Full Review
Bottom Line: Despite the negatives, I would recommend this product as a safe cosleeping alternative, it is wonderful to have your baby still at eye level, but not in your bed.

Didn't Work For Me
tonyzwife, Mar 17, 2008 1:22:57 PM
Pros: Sturdy, keeps baby next to you for nursing and bonding, attractive design
Cons: Heavy, expensive, difficult to assemble and disassemble
Review: When I was expecting my twins, I decided that I wanted to try having them sleep in our room with us to help with bonding. I went out and invested in an Arms Reach Original Co-Sleeper because I thought that it would fit both babies, and still not take up... Read Full Review
Bottom Line: It didn't work for us, but might work out for you. A pack-n-play might be a better option.

Want piece of mind?
bols543, Mar 13, 2007 9:49:14 PM
Pros: Piece of mind.
Cons: Sheets do shrink if dried.
Review: This was the best investment I made with all of my children. I would happily do it all over again. I am glad to have spent my money on this and not on some tiny little craddle that my baby would have grown out of in no time. It was a comfort for me to... Read Full Review
Bottom Line: I highly recommend this because you are able to tend to baby's needs immediately.

Very Durable
valfl82, Jun 6, 2007 2:26:44 PM
Pros: Durability, versatility, safety.....
Cons: not very travel friendly
Review: I used this co-sleeper until my son was 2 months old and until the present as a play yard. I have nothing negative to say other that collapsing it for travel is not very easy. It takes a little while and it's nearly impossible to fit in the bag with all... Read Full Review

Absolutely love it!
shannonrenee79, Dec 19, 2006 11:06:02 PM
Pros: Allows baby to safely sleep beside you, roomy
Cons: Original mattress is very hard
Review: I was apprehensive about spending so much money on the co-sleeper at first, but it has been worth every penny. My first son slept in his crib at the foot of our bed, and I was constantly crawling to the foot of the bed to check on him. I bought the Arm's... Read Full Review

Great for keeping baby with you AWESOME for NURSING
Carlsonrio, Dec 22, 2005 9:43:35 AM
Pros: convienent and the best way to keep an eye on baby
Cons: Read instructions carefully
Review: Its great for parents who want their babies in their room with them, but rather not have them actually in the bed. I can lay right next to my baby, safely and comfortably and be able to easily reach in to rub or pat his back when he stirs during the... Read Full Review
